Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating and overseeing skilled nursing services provided to clients receiving home care. The RN performs comprehensive assessments, develops individualized care plans, supervises caregivers, and ensures compliance with all clinical standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, CNAs, and Home Health Aides.
• Administer medications, treatments, and skilled nursing procedures.
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate clients and family members regarding disease management and treatment plans.
• Monitor client progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and state regulations.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Minimum one year of nursing experience; home health experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills.
• Excellent leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the service area.
