Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct personal care services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. The CNA assists clients with activities of daily living while promoting safety, comfort, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and hygiene.
• Monitor and document vital signs as directed.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Observe and report changes in clients' health status.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Build positive relationships with clients and their families.
• Participate in ongoing training and staff meetings.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of basic patient care principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to assist clients with lifting and transfers.
• Compassionate and professional demeanor.
